You can delete your PropFix account and personal data at any time. You do not need the app installed to make the request.
This applies to every role — Property Manager, Contractor and Tenant accounts can all be deleted directly in the app. It takes effect immediately. Your sign-in stops working straight away and cannot be restored.
Fill this in and it will open your email app with the request ready to send. Nothing is submitted from this page and no information is stored here.
Not working? Email ayyazsajjadwum@gmail.com with the subject “PropFix account deletion request” and include the email address on your account.
Being straight about this matters more than sounding reassuring.
What happens to your job history is different depending on your role — it is stored differently, so the outcome is different. Read the row for your own account type, not just the first one that looks close.
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Your sign-in and password | Permanently deleted |
| Your name, email address, phone number | Erased |
| Push notification token | Deleted |
| Subscription/billing record in our database | Erased |
| Properties, work orders and contractor invite codes you own (Property Manager accounts) | Permanently deleted with your account |
| Work orders you were assigned (Contractor accounts) | Kept by the property management company as its operating record; the link to your login is removed, but your name is stored separately on that record as text and is not removed — it may still be visible on historical work orders |
| Maintenance complaints you submitted (Tenant accounts) | Permanently deleted, not kept |
| Invite code you used to link your unit (Tenant accounts) | The code stays as the Property Manager's record; the link to your identity is removed |
| Before/after job photo files already uploaded to storage | The database record is erased; the underlying photo file is not purged in the same instant — email us and we will remove any remaining photo files tied to your account |
| Payment/invoice records | Retained by Stripe under its own financial-record obligations, outside our systems |
If you are a Contractor: work orders you completed stay with the property management company because they are that company's own operating record of maintenance work performed. It is not ours to erase on our own authority. After deletion, the record is no longer connected to your login — but the work order stores your name as a separate piece of text at the time you were assigned, and deleting your account does not erase that text. Your name may continue to appear on historical work orders even though your account no longer exists.
If you are a Tenant: your maintenance complaints are deleted along with your account, not retained — they are stored in a way that is destroyed, not disconnected, when your account is removed. If a Property Manager separately typed your name or phone number into a work order as free text, that text was never part of your account and is unaffected either way by your account's deletion.
Deleting a Property Manager account also deletes the properties, work orders and contractor invite codes that account owns — this is not something to trigger by accident, which is why the in-app flow requires a double confirmation. If you would rather have us walk through it with you first, or your account has an unusual amount of history, email ayyazsajjadwum@gmail.com and we will confirm what will be removed before anything is deleted, within the same 7–30 day commitment above.
